We spend a lot of time out and about in the field and are keen to share some of the places where we shoot with you. If you’ve got any recommendations to add to this, please email us: alastair@glosguncompany.co.uk
Clay Shooting
Clay shooting is an excellent way to get your eye in prior to the game season, as well as being a fun way to blast some pesky little discs of clay into smithereens! If you get out and about on a Sunday, you may well bump into one of the GGC team, so come and say hello.
Cotswold Clay Club
Run by Nick Phillips-Holt this is a really friendly club, with a good mix of stands, from the more fun ones to boost your ego to the challenging layouts, so you can really hone your competitive skills. They also have a great club room with bacon butties, cake and a log-burning stove.
Opening hours: Every Sunday: 10am – 2pm

Corinium Clay Pigeon Shooting Club
Corinium offers a challenging layout. You shoot in teams of four, so it’s good to get a gang of you together.
Opening hours: Fortnightly, Sundays (you need to book in between 10am and 10.15am)

Ian Coley Shooting School, Chatcombe
