Please note a couple of dates when we are shut over the coming weeks:
We will be shut on Monday the 22nd of August for a client booking
We are shut on the Saturday and the Monday of the Bank Holiday (the 27th & 29th) for the Rib-Eye Clay Shoot – a great day in aid of The Countryside Alliance give us a call for further details!
Following that we are at Moreton-in-Marsh Show on Saturday 3rd and the shop is shut, we hope to see you all at some of the next few events!
We will be at Moreton-in-Marsh Show on Saturday the 3rd of September 2011, with a good selection of guns, clothing and extras so why not venture out for a fantastic day at a true country fair and pop along to see us whilst your there!
Our next appearance will be Frampton Country Fair on Sunday 11th September. This is one of our favourites shows for the sheer variety of events – from tent pegging to fly casting, theres almost too much to fit into one day! Do join us and we’ll try and have enough venison burgers to go around!

Sunday, 15 August: The Cotswold Hunt and Farmers Show
GGC will be running a ‘Have a Go’ air rifle range for the Cotswold Hunt and Farmers Show. This is a fun day out for all the family, with terrier and lurcher racing, hounds, 1920s carousel, farm animals and an exhibition of Cotswold Sheep. As well as the chance to qualify for a place in Horse Show of the Year in the Ladies Hunter, Small Hunter and Working Hunter categories.

Sunday, 22 August: WMS Steel Challenge Weekend
You may have read Jo’s article in June Sporting Rifle on the joys of Long Range Rifle shooting (if not, click here), we enjoyed our last weekend so much that we’ve arranged one open to all our customers to join us. WMS Steel Challenge is an awesome venue in the Welsh countryside offering reactive targets out to 1,000 yards and expert tuition from Andrew Venables. This time we’re joined by Glos Rifle Range, Paul Hill, and will be taking along a selection of RPA, Mauser and Blaser rifles, as well as Zeiss optics to put the kit through its paces. Saturday, 28 August: Ribeye Clay Shooting Competition
The Ribeye is a popular annual event in aid of the Countryside Alliance. It’s great fun with a brillant layout and some great food, as well as a live auction with some fantastic prizes, including the GGC auction lot – win a place on our next WMS Long Range Rifle Day. We’ll also be running an exciting air rifle stand to put all clay shooters to the test!

Saturday, 4 September: Moreton in Marsh Show
GGC will have a stand at this popular country show. There are sections for Horses, Livestock, Home and Garden, Poultry, Farms and Crops, Attractions and the Food Marquee. We will be there with a selection of guns, clothing and accessories, so do come and along and see us at our stand.

Sunday, 13 September: Frampton Country Show
One of the highlights of our yearly calendar, Frampton is a friendly and fun-packed country show. Whether you want to see the age-old tradition of tent-pegging, one of the best beagle and hound displays to be found, great gundog trials, fishing lake and traditional breeds. We will all be there with a large stand on the Countryside Ring, offering a ‘have a go’ air rifle range, a full range of rifles, shotguns, air rifles and optics, as well as the best technical clothing to set you up for the season.
